What is it?
Micronization of polymers and of some elastomers is a process that reduces particles through mills whereby a reduction up to 400 micros is obtained. Such micronized compounds are utilized in rotational molding that reutilizes scraps from several processes, like bonding, among others. Together with micronization, polymers can undergo pigmentation and receive additives in order to improve the performance of the thermoplastic resins.
